Chimpanzee Tracking and Primate Diversity
Nyungwe is home to thriving populations of habituated chimpanzees tracked from Uwinka and Gisakura trailheads. The park shelters thirteen primate species, including semi-habituated super-troops of over 400 Rwenzori colobus monkeys foraging through the canopy.
